We have moved email servers and have updated our email IP address in the Connections area in Visual Cron.

However We are receiving errors messages on our existing and NEW jobs that says 'Cannot connect to specified smtp host (XX.X.X.XX:XX)'. In the error message is is referencing our OLD email server IP address, even though we have updated it to look at the new one.

I have a test job setup to send out an email. The job itself sends out the email. However, the notification tab does not send out the emails (notify on start, notify on complete, notify on error) and I get message box pop-ups with the above referenced message.

We are on version 5.3.1. Please adivse on the best way to resolve this. Perhaps it is a bug.

You could check the Connections window which probably holds an old IP.

Yes, that was the first thing I updated. This is why the email task works using the new IP. However, the notifications are not seeing the new setting. They continue to fail.

Have you looked at Server tab->Server settings?

Thank you. That is the area I was missing.

Yes, we will probably centralize Notifications as well in some way.
