Hello folks,

I'm in a bit of a predicament.

My company is using a single-server, licensed version of VisualCron, version 8.1.0 (Build 35899). The server it is being used on has Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Edition (Service Pack 2, Build 6002). (Yes, I am well aware that the versions of VisualCron and the OS are quite old...)

The server above is scheduled to be decommissioned and I need to move the VisualCron application and associated jobs to another server. The server I want to move VisualCron to has Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter Edition (SP1, Build 7601).

Needless to say, my company no longer has a maintenance contract with VisualCron though I still have the version 8 install executable of VisualCron. I have reviewed the VisualCron documentation and the process of moving a license seems straight-forward.

My Question: Will I be able to move my VisualCron license from the old server to the new server, even though I do not have a maintenance contract with VisualCron and even though the operating systems on both servers are slightly different?

I appreciate any guidance you can provide.
