On one of our servers we have upgraded VisualCron version from 7.7.3 to 8.4.1 recently.

After the upgrade we are consistently facing issues with tasks ( inactive status ) being triggered continuously on it's own.

Scenario:
There are a number of tasks which ( eg. Job A,B,C,D) which have been set initially .

Tasks B,C,D are the main tasks , In case the task C fails and the trigger is set to task A for task C.
In our scenario task A is currently set as inactive, which means task A should not run even if task C fails .

But in our case, we could notice the task A is running irrespective of its current status( active/inactive).

Adding to the above , we could not find any info from the error logs.

I think what might confuse things is a bug in 8.4.1 where Job/Task Control is no longer working with the Run syncrhonous option. This has been fixed in 8.4.1: https://www.visualcron.c....aspx?g=posts&t=9330

Thanks for the update Hendrick. Can we know the list of bugs reported for the VC 8.4.1 version so that we could monitor those areas in our process?

Regards,
Hari.
