Hello,

Today our log is printing a lot of the following messages: Impersonation was skipped because the current user is already the specified user: x, Credential: x@domain (local login+load profile)

What are these and what do they mean? I initially thought someone had used the credentials of user 'x' to RDP to the server but I don't see a session with that login. Unfortunately we cannot just use the credentials of user 'x' to run all the jobs because some create spreadsheets which require a profile.

Maybe the user that runs VisualCron service is the same as the Credential you use?

Yes, it is the same user. Do you recommend different credentials when running scheduled jobs on VisualCron?

Thanks,

We do recommend that you use the SYSTEM account for running the Service and then elevate with any other user as Credential when needed.

Sorry for bringing back an old post but this issue started happening again this past weekend. I verified the service is running as the SYSTEM account and the jobs are running as a domain account.

I'm not entirely sure what these error messages mean or how to get them to stop appearing in the log.

Thanks,
