Hello,
can anyone please describe the effect of the following two options?

Client-Options: Job failure / Days to track failed jobs
Server-Options: Log settings / Database settings / Keep a maximum of XXX rows in database vs. Log settings / Database settings / Delete rows older than XX days

The first one is just a Client settings for the window "Failed Jobs".

The second one is for the database (internal or external) - how much data to store before deleting it.
