Hi,

I'm trying to move a job from one folder to another, but it doesn't work. When you "move" something, I would expect it to become visible in the destination folder, and no longer be visible in the source folder. However, it's actually visible in both folders, and I can't find a way to remove it from the source folder.

On another note, it doesn't show jobs from subfolders. E.g. if I have a folder called "My Jobs", which has a subfolder "System 1", and that subfolder has jobs "Job 1" and "Job 2", then I would expect that when I click on the "My Jobs" folder, the job view would show me Job 1 and Job 2. It doesn't. It only shows those jobs if I specifically click on the System 1 folder.

The more pressing issue is the first one, though - how do I remove a job from a folder? I don't want to actually delete the job.

Thanks.

Go to interface/set columns and check "ID" in the Jobs group. Job IDs will now show in the client display grid. Do both jobs have the same ID?

Yes, they're both showing Job ID d1a92f18-64ff-477a-bcdc-90bdc7a998dd.

Try opening and closing the client and look again. Sometimes I have to do this when things appear to go wonky, like job status icons don't update, etc. I have had instances where upon copying a job that had a trigger, the new trigger wouldn't work until I deleted, then re-added.

If you have a recent backup you may want to try deleting, then importing the job from the backup in order to redo in case something got corrupted internally.

I've tried closing the client as well as the server, but that didn't help. I still can't figure out how to get a job to not show in a particular folder.

Is there any update on this? The only way I've found to remove a job from a folder is to remove the entire folder, which removes ALL jobs from that folder. I then have to recreate the folder and re-move all the other jobs that I wanted in the folder back into it. This seems cumbersome to me, although at least it works, and it's not like I'll need to move jobs very often once I completely iron out how I want them to be organized.
