Starting with version 8.3.5, I find that if a job fails and I rerun it, and the rerun completes successfully, the job Result still shows "Failed" (even though the task Result does show "Success"). If I disconnect from the server and reconnect, the job Result then shows "Success". It appears that the job Result in the display is not being refreshed properly....

hi,
I've seen this problem too.

Also in 8.35 I have seen the "status" DOES NOT update from "running" to "waiting" on the successful completion of the job run. Must be a refresh bug.

Is this reproduceable? Can someone from this thread test 8.3.6?

Hi,
This is how I can produce the refresh bug in version 8.3.5
I created a job with a single task.
The task is to execute a batch file. I purposely set the path to the executable to an incorrect drive letter, so the job will fail.

Example
cddd:\run.bat path is incorrect, exit code produced is 2

I set no triggers

I then run the job manually until the refresh bug occurs. Running this test I was able to make the refresh bug appear after the second manual run.
The client shows:
Results:
Running

Result Image
hour glass

Status:
Waiting

Execution:
00:00:00.1

Clearing the job has finished, but the Results and Result Image are not refreshing.

I did the same test with beta 8.3.6. I CANNOT create the refresh bug.

Bug resolved? I ran the same test 150 times. I "dunno"...can someone also run their tests.

Thanks,
Michael
