visualcron-exclusion.png

Trying to delete files from a network share location using UNC path but want to exclude one sub folder as shown in the picture.
Credential for network access is setup.

When I do a test-show filtered files, it shows files from the sub folder specified in exclusion too. I actually wanted to use a wildcard for one folder in the exclusion path but even specifying a non-wildcard path as in pic doesn't seem to work.

This works when all the folders are local instead of a network unc path.

Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

It should behave the same. But please uncheck Local login in the Credential.

Thanks - the user was a dummy one I created just to take a screenshot. Didn't want the username and domain to show up. :-)

But I think I see my mistake now:
Looks like I can't just give an exclude path to a folder that has sub folders. I have to wildcard the subfolders.

So, If I have a path like this:
\\wifistx\APPS\EX02\config\pc\temp.txt

And want to exclude everything under config. then I can't give specify exclude like this:
\\wifistx\APPS\EX02\config

This works which makes sense:
\\wifistx\APPS\EX02\config\*
