Hi,

I have two keys, a public and a private one.
I have them in a .pkr and .skr extention and both in .gpg extention.

I use these keys decrypting files with the tool: PGP.exe
(Pretty Good Privacy(tm) Version 6.5.8)

Now I want to use VisualCron for this, so I uploaded the two keys in VC.
I see in the PGP Key Ring window my ring name and two keys are showed with seperate email addresses and names.

If I setup a job to decrypt the file I got the following error:

PGP File decryption error: Invalid data

The log telles me:

8/14/2009 8:56:27 AM	Info	Task started: decrypt (31)
8/14/2009 8:56:27 AM	Err	PGP File decryption error: Invalid data
8/14/2009 8:56:27 AM	Err	Decryption failed on file path: F:\Temp\UBS\2009-08-11_UBS_TGB_POS_1.dat - encryption aborted
8/14/2009 8:56:27 AM	Info	Task completed: decrypt (31)

In my previous setup I had to register the keys with:

pgp -ka public.pkr
pgp -ka private.skr

I believe I don't have this anymore with VC.

What am I doing wrong here?

Regards
Erik

Minor issue:

If I create a key with VC, the timestamp of creation is 2 hours in the past.
Uses Visualcron since 2006.

Stupid me, the file wasn't encrypted at all....

I tried it again with an encrypted file: everything went fine 😊
