VisualCron ran fine for a week. Then an error occured which shut down the service. Since then, if I restart the service manually it will run for 1-2 hours then bomb out again with the same error.

Here is the message text:

Quote:

Server version: 5.1.6.33618 - (2009-05-25)
Protocol: 5.1.3
OS: Windows2003

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Here is what the event log looks like (each red X reports the same error as above):

Can you see if this is related to any specific Task?

It sure doesn't seem like it.

I have a total of three tasks, with the following schedules:
-- Every Friday at 9:00 PM
-- Every day other than Friday at 9:00 PM
-- Every day at 7:15 AM and 1:05 PM

You can see that the times of the errors are pretty random and not anywhere near any of the scheduled task times.

Could you send log_serverDATE.txt from the 16th to support@visualcron.com?

Thanks for the file. It seems there is something specific about that server, like broken memory. Do you have possibility to try on another Server?
