As a VisualCron newbie I'm wonding how others are handling cross server dependencies, ie where job 'b' on server 2 is dependent on the successful completion of job 'a' on server 1. I was thinking along the lines of job 'a' creating a 'trigger' file on server 2 on successful completion, and job 'b' spooling for that file before starting.
If anyone has other ideas I'd love to hear them.

I have the last step in Job A on Server A, write the date in a file on Server B.

Job B looks in this file at certain times for the todays date and runs or not runs, depending.
