We have a remote facility with a server that could - in a disaster - run a copy VisualCron. Can we install a copy at the remote facility if it is not used except in the event of a disaster?

Note: I realize in the event of a disaster we could deactivate the existing license and activate/apply it to the other facility but that doesn't allow us to test the jobs and prep the remote server.

Other than buying a license that won't be used are there other options?

Currently you need a separate license for that environment.

Will there be an option in the near future to support this type of request? We are also in the same boat as hutch.

thanks

I read your how to, to move VisualCron from one server to another. One question I have, in the event that Server A completely goes down, how can I de-authorize that computer in order to install on another computer? In a timely manner, within 1 to 2 hours, anytime, any day?

If you want to move it and have an Internet connection on Client side you can deactivate the Server and Activate on new Server.

If it goes completely down you have the following options:

1. Have an already activated Server
2. Install trial which gives you 45 days of full functionality
3. Contact Support. Normally answers within a few hours
