We are a PCI-compliant company and exposing the database connection string in the "Connections" section is not an option. We have an immediate need for an enhancement.

Enhancement request: Once a database connection string has been entered, mask the connection string so that it cannot be viewed.

Is this possible and how quickly could you provide an enhancement build for something like this?

What about removing permissions for Connections so they can't be viewed?

The problem with connection string is that we do not exactly know which part that is the password. We don't know exactly where in the string it should be removed/masked.
