It is nice that VC supports logging to the Windows event log however the information logged is not very helpful. Please consider adding at minimum as part of the event log entry the job name, task name, and the status. If you really wanted to go the extra km expose all of the core job/tasks attributes and allow the user to select which ones will be written to the event log.
