As expected, the Remote File Trigger initiates this VC job when a new file is created on a remote SFTP server. The folder and file name(list) are passed to the first task (via a variable) which is suppose to transmit the file(list) to a local folder using an FTP/FTPS/SFTP task type, however, the above error occurs and the job fails. I noticed a similar problem back in ver 7.2.0 (or is it 7.0.2).....wondering if this solution was missed for "Remote" file triggers.

You emailed something about Variables - how is this related? Are you talking about your own User Variable or Result Variables or?

I'm using the "VisualCronvariables> Jobs> Active job> Triggers> Last trigger> Remote file event> Folder" variable value which I just discovered has the wrong slashes…..

\sftp\SVC01CVS\home\CVSHyperion_SLdata\QA

SHOULD BE:

/sftp/SVC01CVS/home/CVS/Hyperion_SLdata/QA

I hard coded the folder value and it works.....the Remote File trigger is watching a folder on a UNIX server, could that be the problem? Or, as back in v 7.0.2 is an upgrade needed?
