A vbs file has been created to launch the shortcut (.lnk) of an application.
It executed successfully.
But when tried to execute this vbs file through visual cron (7.1.2), it doesn't work.
It just launches the command window... with the message "Press any key to continue".
Can we get a solution for this issue?

Why do you launch the link and not the application itself? More generally, what are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to open the interface of a program?

We don't actually have a exe file. By launching this shortcut in the shared drive, we copy few dll's from the server.
So to work with the application, we have to launch this shortcut.

But the shortcut leads somewhere. Go directly against the target in the shortcut instead.
