We are about to upgrade all our servers to the latest version (currently 4.9.40) but I've noticed that in beta version 4 has hit 4.9.58 and there are version 5 releases upto 5.0.4. So I was just wondering if a full release of version 5 is close to happening. If it is we'll hold off rather than upgrade twice in quick succession.

Version 5 is considered stable and we will release it within a week. We are currently working on a new web site and that is why it has been delayed. I think you can safely upgrade to version 5.
