Hope you can help

Having recently upgraded from 5.x to 7.1.7

I am experiencing an issue trying to run an executable using the Process \ Execute task.

The visual cron task shows a status of "Running" but the application has not launched (checked in Program Manager).

I am able to successfully run the exe manually as well as launch it from Windows Task Scheduler.

This was not an issue when I was on version 5.x

Any ideas?

You checked the Task manager? It sounds unlikely as we wait for process completion before changing Running to something. Open the Running Jobs window and check the Windows PID. Then check with the PID in the Task manager.
