I use visual Cron ver 7.0.7, and I have noticed at certain times, not always, the visual cron copy step (a file to another server )gets hung, then the only way to stop the task is by rebooting the server. Is there a fix for this issue? appreciate any suggestions on this issue.
Thanks,

Note- there is no problem copying files across folders in the same server.

Try narrowing the file mask by setting a single file to see what the problem is. I guess it may be many files you try to copy?

If you change it to a local file with no Credential - does it hang then?

I am not sure, if I understood, what you meant by -local file with no credentials. I forgot to mention earlier , the copy task also compresses the local file (archive-compress task)and moves the compressed file to an external server. As for the credentials- I do not have an username/password on the task itself. Hope this helps answer your question.

I am thinking about creating a new Job, with a new Task, that do copy or compress are whatever you do with one _local_ file, let say in c: root. Does it hang then?
