I have a job that performs a couple tasks on a file and then attempts to move the file to a temporary archive location using the Copy Files feature. The "Include file mask" is set to "gltrna" and the task is set to delete the source file after copy. Note: The file does not have an extension. The "Test" tab shows that the filter works, but when the task runs it fails, saying no files were copied.

I worked around the problem by adding another task to add an extension to the file before moving the file to the archive location. I just thought you'd like to know about the problem so that you can fix it.

The filter is an exact match to the file name. They are both "gltrna". We are using version 6.2.2.

We could not reproduce this with version 7. Nothing should have been changed regarding this from 6.2.2. to 7.x. Could you provide some screenshots of the file in the folder?

I can do that, but I'm swamped right now (and will be through mid October.) It may take a while.

Hi Henrik,

I know it's been a while, but I just got caught up on my more critical work. I changed the job back the way it was before (without adding the .txt extension before attempting to move the file) and fully expected it to fail. It worked! I'm not sure what happened, but I'm not able to reproduce the error. If I ever run across it again (doubtful) I'll let you know.

Thanks!
