Is there a way in VisualCron to look for specific text in an output file (e.g. Import was successful) once a job is completed and if that text is found in the file it would trigger another process to start?

You can use the File Read Task. Then add a Job/Task control Task that starts the second Job. Then create a VisualCron Condition that checks output of previous (file read Task) and check the Condition on the Job/Task Control Task. Now, the second Task will only be run if the text you put in condition is contained in the output of first Task.
