Hi, I'm using version 6.1.7.
There seems to be a problem where task status indicates the task is running after the task has completed. I cannot find a way to refresh the status. My workaround is to disconnect then reconnect after which the current status is displayed correctly.

Is there a resolution for this problem? N.B. I have found that turning off compression is best for my configuration. Also, my visualcron server is running at a remote datacentre connected via vpn to my office location.

No, it's intermittent. However there is a job I run frequently through the day and it is often affected. It seems I can't re-run the job if vc thinks the status is 'running' so I'm constantly disconnecting/reconnecting to be able to run my job. The job is part of my software publishing process. The tasks are execute tasks.

Do you have the Client always on? Or do you disconnect when leaving the server?

Henrik, I mostly have the client connected all day. This is our development server, and there could be up to 20 clients connected.

If you connect another Client (maybe local) - does it have the right status then?

Yes. Connecting or disconnecting/reconnecting always refreshes the status. It appears that the client status isn't refreshed while connected.
