Dear all

I recognized that the file move task always take 2 seconds in minimum (even for very small files with few KBs). Is there a way to have this done faster?

Reason is that we have a time critical job that has to move several files (around 200) in a very short time. As we use the mail download as trigger and one file is in one mail only we can move only file by file. Unfortunately we don't have an influence when excactly the mails are sent, so we don't receive the 200 mails at once.

Thanks for the info

I do not think it is the Copy files it self that takes time. It should be instant. What if you try to copy/move a file locally and without Credentials - is that slow too?

Hi Henrik

A local copy is very quick 0.1 seconds.

Is there something I can do about?

Thanks

If you use a Credential I assume the AD logon is the problem. It could be slow for a number of reasons. I could also be a network problem. What you can do to test this is to mount a drive using the mapping tool within VisualCron. Then copy to that share. When copying deselect the Credential. If it is still slow it is probably a network problem. If it is not it is a AD response time problem.
