We are getting erroneous errors when sending files to a particular site.

"Failed to upload file: F:\FTP_Data\IT\TBS_Epic\TBSChg20120906.txt to /mnt/point/TBSChg20120906.txt, err: Failure"

The file does get sent successfully and the byte counts are the same.

But, we do get a valid error when attempting to send multiple files to them in the same session.

We have no issue like this with any other vendor that we send/receive files.

I validated their requirements and nothing seems out of norm EXCEPT the directory that we write the files to only allows write access. There is no read, no r/w or any other type of access allowed. I asked if they could change that setting and they will not budge.

So, my assumption is that VC needs to be able to read the directory to complete the tasks as well as sending multiple files.

Is this correct?

Also, i tested this with FileZilla and it will not let me send multiple files either.

It sounds strange. We do need read access as we compare files before upload and it sounds strange that ftp server should limit read access.
