Hello.

Earlier this year we had problems with running Access macros from visualcron. You helped us at the time with a patch regarding credentials. To run MS Access macros we ha to check the box "Load Profile".

This has worked fine since the implementation. Until this morning.
For some reason the Excel Macros we are running stopped working. I unchecked the box "Load profile" and it worked with the Excel macros again.

I had to create an additional user with the proper credentials to be able to run both types of macros.

Now it seemes to be working, but it is a little bit worrying that it could happen.

We haven´t changed anything in the macros or in Visualcron. No MS patches or Visualcron patches are installed since June.

Have you got any idea or pointers about what could have happened?

Regards.

It sounds like some property has changed with the user itself. Either password or permissions?

I can´t see that anything happened with the user during the time for the problems. And there hasen´t been any changes made to the user that I can see.

What I discovered is that a proccess run by the same user, hung just before the problems occured and possibly during. The problem remained after that process was killed so I can´t really see the connection with the problem with "load profile".

I will try to run an excel job with the user with "load profile" checked during the day and see if the problem is still there.

Hello again.

Now it seems to work again.

It has to be the hanging Access job that caused the problem.

Thanks for the assistance.
