Good Morning,

after upgrade to V 6.1.2 a simple task of "delete files" stop working well.

the task is configured to delete all files and folder from the root directory.

after upgrade the task delete all the files but not the empty folder.

another strange thing is the following:
in the root directory if there is a folder called A, inside A exists an another folder called B and in B are present some files, the task deletes only the folder B while A remains in the root directory.

please advise if anybody can help me.
thanks
Giuliano

Hi,

the issue is that the Delete files Task only deletes folders that originally had a file in it. It will never delete the folder you mentioned because there was no file there from the beginning. This Task first tries to find files according to the filter/file mask then delete folders where those files existed.

We will probably create a "Delete folders Task" where you can select a folder mask instead.

Good morning,
I'm pretty sure that the first task in question wipe out all the folders.
