Adding an enhancement request to include more error handling capabilities in the email trigger. At the moment, we can only define retry times and intervals, and then the trigger is disabled, which causes a problem if the triggered job is essential and it is missed.

Would it be possible to have the trigger never disable but just keep on retrying? However, after a set number of retries send a notification saying that the email trigger hasn't fired in the expected timeframe?

Also, perhaps add more error details in the log?
