Hi Henrik ,

just for Information .

The Access Task works also now .

Things I´ve done :

Added Network Drive for Mapping with credential .

But the Main Reason why the Error´(- maybe Microsoft Office is not installed? This Task requires Microsoft Office being installed.) comes up is, NOT to close the database in an Access Macro itself.

It seems that the VC Task itself also want to close it and then this Error comes up .

I´ve verified this. A simple Error who needed 3 Days of searching . 💤

I think i´ve earned a can of Sürströmming 🤣

many thanks for your support .

Now I can go on testing .

regards Axel

So, the problem was only the close function in macro? Which method do you call exactly?

Surströmming really stinks in all ways! 😁

Thank you for your findings!

EDIT : For working with Office 2007 and Higher

For Access you must set in Trust Center Options the Option : Activate all Macros.

If not it can cause the same Error.
