As currently designed you can either set the extension for a single file or use the default extension of pgp for bulk file encryptions. I have run in to many occasions where people want to have the extension for encrypted file as gpg. Currently I need to have an extra tasks that renames the files (this has other negative ramifications) but it would be nice to be able to simply use *.gpg just has you can when you select the source files to be encrypted.

This feature may also be usefull in other bulk files operations.

This can be done since a couple of versions ago.
