Ive been tasked with setting a visual cron job that will automatically download a email attachment and save it to a folder on the pc its on. Is this possible via VC? I found a add on to Office that does this but then we need to install office on the pc as well and we trying to do this without that.

There is no need for office. You download with the Email Trigger using the IMAP or POP3 protocol. IMAP preferably. So you need to find out the IMAP address and if there are any special security settings you need. Look in the Connections window for setting up the IMAP connection that is used in the mail trigger.

I have a problem using the email trigger: I set up an email trigger using IMAP to look for a specific email and download the attachment - but it downloads the attachment from all the emails in the inbox and not just the one I set up the Conditions for.

the Conditions are set for "From address" and "Subject" and the Actions are set for Trigger = "All match" - but it downloads from the wrong email!

Please create new threads for each problem you are experiencing.

We did double check this,.with your settings, and did not have any problems. Please double click the downloaded email so you can check the from address.
