Hello,

On fews jobs I have Notify on error for IT support and Notify on complete for users.
But when job failed both receive email, users for complete and support for error.
I don't want vc send email when the job failed, how can I make this ?

Thanks

Patrick

We will change this behavior in a future version. Perhaps some other users has comments on this? I mean, there could be cases where you want 2 emails. How would you like to configure the settings for this?

For a general job completion, you could add an email task as the last task in the job, and for the error one you could use the one in the job notifications....:-k
But then you still have the problem that if an error uccured, you only want the error mail... 🤔 🤔
Uses Visualcron since 2006.

Hello,
If I have a job that made a file copy, if the copy failed and the user received an email with "The job copy xx completed".
I think that "Notify on complete" implicate a good completion of all tasks in the job.
Otherwise it is necessary to add a "Notify on end".

Brainstorm: You might want to have different notifications for jobs and tasks, like a job notification for 'not all tasks ran'.
Uses Visualcron since 2006.
