Hello,

The task "Execute" worked fine under 5.6.9 but after upgrading to 5.7.8 it can't find the executable anymore.

The executable is on the PATH.

I verified that when the task runs, PATH is correct (dumped it to a text file).

I can get it to work if I put in the full path to the executable in the Command part of the Execute task.

Has path handling changed between the two versions?
Or is something not set up correctly in my job.

Note: when upgrading from 5.6.9 to 5.7.8 I just installed on top of the old install and all of the jobs came through seemingly correct.

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

Thanks!

Probably it is located on a network drive? And maybe you ran the VisualCron service as another user to get network access. Unfortunately, that user is reset to SYSTEM when upgrading.

Ok, I will check the service account. The path is pointing to a local drive, so it's not a matter of network drives.

But if I have Credentials set up and run a Task with the correct full credentials, shouldn't that take care of the path/environment?

*it should* but there may be other details that "came for free" if you ran it as another user before. Please test it and we'll go from there.
