Hi,

It would be nice to have an IM task for the Office Communicator.
There is and API available for this.

It might not be relevant anymore, due to the new Lync 2010.
But we still have the Office communicator, so for me it's still nice.

Along the same lines as Office Communicator, our company is still using Messenger 5.1 with the SIP protocol. We're apparently slow moving when it comes to company wide IM client updates... but I think SIP is still used in Office Communicator as well.

Just thought i'd mention it.

We need Microsoft Lync as a capability. Useful to send out notifications upon task/job completion
