I just updated to the latest version 4.9.3 from 4.8.2 and I am seeing a lot of "Job started" & "Job completed" messages, as I am doing a lot there are just too many of them

Is there a way to remove them for specific jobs?

You can't remove them for specific Jobs. You can turn of the feature by right clicking on the VisualCron Tray Client and choose settings.

Turning them off in the settings only lasts for a single session. Is there a way of turning them off permanently?

When looking at this we found that we are still storing VC Tray settings in program files/VisualCron/Settings. Your user might have write problems here. We will change this for next version.
