Today we had issues in logging in to Visual Cron. After restarting the service, we could log in but there were no jobs. The job log said something about the lost configuration file.

I do not know how the config file was missing. We had to restore from the backups to restore the jobs.

Please explain why this happened and how to avoid such events in future.

There could be many reasons. Please send log_serverDATE.txt to support@visualcron.com and we will examine the log file.
