We've several triggers based on the creation of files. If for some reasons the shared folders become unreachable for a short while, the triggers are set to inactive.

Is it possible to ignore these kinds of issues and continue polling as soon as the folders are available again?

There is no ignore modus here, but you can configure the way the trigger handles the network loss.
You can do this by setting the 'on error reconnect attempts' and 'on error reconnect interval (seconds)'.
By enlarging the above the trigger could stay active.
