I've created a job that works exactly how I want it to. The last step is that I only want it to run if any files exist in a specific directory. To do this, I added a File condition and applied it to the job. The condition is looking at a network location (using a UNC) and is looking for a wildcard file (*.vox).

No matter how I set things in the condition, the job runs every time. I've tried listing a specific file, I've flipped the "File Exists" status from True to False (just in case) and I've run the job both manually and from a trigger. In every case, the job always runs.

I turned on extended debug logging and I don't see any indication of an attempt to check the condition. Am I missing something?

I am running version 5.5.0. On a side note, I'm entitled to versions through 5.6.0 but I don't see any way to download the older versions. Is there a way to do so?

As additional information, I discovered that this particular license still had active maintenance. As such I upgraded to 5.6.2 but I'm still seeing the same behavior.

I finally got this figured out. I had some incorrect logic in the condition set actions and it took me a while to get my head wrapped around the correct way to do this. 😊
