Hi,

I'm running VC version 5.6.3. I have created a new job with 2 event triggers. Both triggers monitor services from operating system. The job has just one task that sends one mail when triggered.
In the body text of the mail I want to use last trigger 'Description' variable ({TRIGGER(029019da-bc1a-4547-b377-c64eae323264|LastTrigger|Desc)}). But when I select the variable preview says "No Trigger specified (perhaps Job is not created yet?)".
Of course, Job is created and task triggered several times by one of the triggers.
What am i doing wrong? Can't I use that variable in the body of a mail?

Thanks!

Those LastTrigger Variables is not really selectable as they only contain information at runtime (when a Task or Job is running). Try using the Variable in a File write Task and you will see the value.

Thank you for the information. I just wanted to know which trigger had triggered the task, that's why I thought that those Last trigger variables would help.
