hi,

i have around 1400 tasks and wants to know if there's a quick way to edit the credentials?

i noticed in the xml file even with the same credential value (frontend), vc seemed to save the credentials differently.

cheers.

Hi amber,

To to this you have to have some programming skills.
with c# you can connect to the Visualcron server, run through all your jobs/tasks and set the credentials accordingly.😍

😢 Without the skills it could be a manual task to do (1400 times)

amber, are you saying that it is the same Credential or not? If it is the same you just have to update that single Credential.

Support,

yes, i will be using the same credentials for all the tasks. i have to change each task credentials (under execute tab > run task as > credentials), so it doesn't fail.

i just want to know if there's a quick way of doing this. 1400 jobs is a lot to update manually.

Hi,

What the Support wants to say is if every task has already a credential given, change the security settings of this credential. Than all your tasks using this credential have the good rights.
But, if you are 'planning' to use one credential and it is not already there at every task, you have to set it up manually or by using the API.
