I want to have a setting in the server logging screen that deletes the old logfiles automaticly.

Delete old logfiles after x days.

If you don't check your log folder, it's growing and growing at this moment .....
Uses Visualcron since 2006.

We know! 😗 But when we have added the file filter we will be add it as a default task - just like the backup task. Then you can choose to keep it or not, change interval or whatever you like.

I think that the logging features should be expanded to help with troubleshooting (maybe even different levels of logging, from terse to extremely verbose?).

The main reason I decided not to purchase VisualCron was that I could not get it to work with our E-mail system, and the logging was too rudimentary to allow me to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Chuck,

we agree that we could divide the logging part. It is unfortunate that you did not get the email Task to work with you system. I know we answered you (Charles) but did not get a reply back - so we thought it was resolved.

This has been implemented as a default Task some time ago.
