I have just started using VisualCron and I am trying to set up a Desktop macro. Everytime the macro runs I get the following error:

Could not find the specified Connection for execution.

What am I doing wrong?

Desktop Macro needs Foreground execution mode. Foreground execution uses the VisualCron Tray Client. That must be running in order to make it work. If you are logged off it is important that you have specified a Credential so VisualCron can logon (to access desktop and run the macro).

There is a red X that appears on the icon in the system tray. But within the VisualCron Client application it is showing the server is On. I am not sure how to connect to the client.

The big question is why the red cross is there - which means it can't connect. Start the Client and click on File->Folders->Manage client settings->Folder->Click on open on the settings folder.

Now, exit the Tray Client and start it again from the start menu.

Then post this file here:

I am running version 5.5.9, when I click on open on settings all it did was open windows explorer to that directory. I closed the client tray and reopened it. I can not find the log file you requested. I have attached the only 2 log files with the current date on them. Please let me know if you need any thing else.

Thanks

For some reason, the simplest communication between the Tray Client and the Server fail.

1. Do normal local connection work ok?
2. Are you using any anti virus, firewall or similar on that machine?

local connections seem to be working fine. The anti virus is McAfee.
