Currently the VisualCron product will either run multiple instances of the Job, based on a file trigger. Or will run 1 Job, holding all other in a queue status until the job is complete, then continue on to the next.

It would be a nice option to have a thread count, so you can possibly run 5 occurances of the Job in a file trigger instance, holding the 6th on, until one thread open's up, then allow the next one in line. Basically so X amount can run at a given time.
