Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere - I searched and couldn't find anything.

What happens on a server reboot?

Specifically, I've got a couple jobs that run 5-10 seconds. If the server is rebooted by an admin or patch while a VC job is running, does VC allow the job to finish before allowing the server to reboot, or does the OS take complete control and just dump the whole process?

I see the job checkbox option to "Run missed Job once at start", which I assume is in case of the server being down at the normal trigger time.

Thanks!

Correct. It will reboot and take over, but with that button checked, it will run the job at start if it didn't complete.
