we have had issues with the VisualCron Service stopping. Causing jobs not to run, triggers to not fire and we are unable to connect via client. This has happened 2 times within a week. The most recent time the service produced a dump file. . We are using version 9.9.6.

Attached bmail file - change extension to exe
  bmail.change_ext_to_exe (40kb) downloaded 14 time(s).

bmail, if you are not familiar is a simply, single file mail sender. It uses flags which you can find described in the help section

something like this will work for you
-s 10.1.1.1 -t first.last@yourdomain.com -a "VisualCron service has stopped three times" -f yourserver@yourdomain.com

At least enable the first two or three "failures" in the service setting to restart the service. While you work to discover the reason for the failures you will be notified of it happening or it will restart or both. Not a solution to the failures but a way to manage it so you do not miss jobs

Please upload the dmp file to neteject.com port 2233 , upload/upload and send an email to support@visualcron.com when it's done. Also, check windows event viewer for information on the service crash, it usually contains a bit more information.

@  Joey S Great suggestion!
