Hello,

we are planning the upgrade from VC 9.1.5 to 9.8.5. First we'll upgrade the acceptance servers, later the production servers, so we need to have both versions on all workstations for a couple of weeks.

We deploy the VC client by copying the client install folder to the workstations. When we need the new client or the old client it takes a minute to clear the folder and copy all files.

When I compare the install folder with a server installation the content is allmost the same, only the web client and a another folder (I don't recall the name) are missing in the client installation.
Can you point out which folders and/or files we can safely delete for a client only installation? This way we can speed up the switch between the two versions.

Why not use the www.visualcron.com/oldversions.aspx  and install the client only instead for the different versions?
