Has there been a new build posted since yesterday morning? I noticed that the size of the install executable is different than the one I downloaded yesterday.

Hi,

I noticed that the 'realtime - general' log view (click the log button in the ribbon) is default sorted by the 'Job' column.
It looks to me that the other tabs are all sorted by the 'Event Time' column and that makes sense.
Shouldn't the 'Realtime - general' log also default be sorted to this 'Event time' column as it is a time based log?

Regards,
Erik

Can we get an update on 7.5.2? Are there still fixes being worked on? Is there a release date yet? Thanks.

Please test latest. It should be sorted by Event date. You can try by running a Job.

We did release this today but as version 7.6.0 to avoid confusion for those that downloaded 7.5.2 before we rolled it back. Also, a lot of changes have made regarding the communication between Client and Server.

Thank you for your feedback!

I've installed 7.6.0 and have noticed that the "Result" column doesn't update to "Running" for some jobs when you manually run a task within that job. In previous versions, the "Result" column would update to "Running" if you manually ran one of the job's tasks. The job does appear in the list of "Running Jobs" however. This job runs a series of SQL stored procedures if that helps. Other jobs that I have manually run tasks for do update the "Result" column with "Running". Very strange. Sounds like a bug with how the Client and Server communicate was introduced in this version.

What is the difference between the Tasks that report correctly and those who not?

As I mentioned, the task I manually ran that didn't update the "Result" column for the job to "Running" was a SQL task that executes a stored procedure. Other tasks that I've manually run (such as an Email or Execute task) do update the "Result" column for the job to "Running".

Ok, but we think it is something else that is special rather than Task type. What if you create a new SQL Task (not clone) but use same settings and then try to execute that?

Well, I just ran the same SQL task for the same job and this time it did update the "Results" column to "Running" for the job. On Friday, it did not update it. I'll try it a few more times to see if it doesn't update it again.
