Good morning,
We've noticed an error in the .zip file process that looks to be deleting the .zip file when trying to add files to the archive. See logs below:

The job starts by copying files from another server to this server, and then finishes with adding the files to a .zip file. However, the files never get added to the zip archive and the original .zip file gets deleted.

We have about 15 jobs like this that started failing with deleted zip files since we upgraded to version 8.01. We recently upgraded to version 8.04 hoping it would have been resolved (per some update notes from 8.02), but the problem continues. This problem doesn't occur every day, but it does happen several times a week. We are having to restore the original .zip file from the previous days backup to get the data back.

Please let me know if you need any other info.

When I was doing some random clicking around i noticed a glitch in the Popup Tasks when editing it.

Edit Popup Task
Go to the Target Tab

My current settings are 'VisualCron Client' is checked, and I have 'Send to specific user(s)' radio button selected, with my ID checked.

Now to see the glitch, CHECK the box for 'Send to executing user', Uncheck 'VisualCron Client' at the top, and then select the other radio button 'Send to specific group(s)'.

Once you do that, the radio buttons go 'greyed out' and no matter what you check/uncheck they never become available again until you cancel and then go back and edit the task again. Logic error on when the buttons become available, nothing ever re-enables them :)

I'm running 8.0.4 on Server 2012 R2 doing some testing.

With the WebClient, it does not seem to save your File > Client Settings. E.g. if you do not want to see the popups for job Start/Stop etc.
When you log back in they have reset back to default (checked).
I have noticed this on 8.0.4 so not yet tested in 8.0.5.
Is this something that can be added to 8.0.5?

This may have actually corrected the inability to connect via the client if TLS 1.0 Disabled for PCI Compliance reasons. I was testing with 8.0.4 and it wouldn't work with TLS 1.0 disabled but I just tried the latest 8.0.5 beta (Build 35281) and am not experiencing those issues.

Sounds strange. This fix is totally separated to the FTP Task and has nothing to do with the Client connection.

Odd Indeed then. I confirmed it on another system. 8.0.4 not working with TLS 1.0 disabled (and TLS 1.2 enabled), upgrade to the latest 8.0.5 Beta.... and it works fine. Downgrade to 8.0.4 and it stops connecting again. All done locally on the same system, with 'Is local server' unchecked.
