Hi,
I am using the Copy files to try and copy/rename a file.

original file name: test
new file name: test_{DATEFORMAT(yyyyMMdd)}.pdf

the problem I am having is that the Copy Files doesn't convert the {DATEFORMAT(yyyyMMdd)} to 20111018 and instead the new file has the DATEFORMAT in its name. this conversion does happen in the "Destinationfolder" field but not in the "Destination file name mask" field.

Variables are not resolved on the destination file mask. What you would need is something similar to the features in the Rename file. We are thinking about adding this to the Copy files Task as well so I am moving this to feature requests.
