There is a email notification built to send an email when the job completes. In looking at the log file it appears as though the email was sent prior to two of the tasks within the job were started. I am not sure what was set up incorrectly.

I have included part of the log file below. YOu will see that the email notification ran at 7:10:06. I've included part of a job that started prior to the email but ended after the email was sent out. I also included (sans other jobs running) the timestamp of the job ending at 7:16:38. I am not sure what was set up incorrectly and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You have probably set the Notification on Task level as well. Open the Tasks and check in the Notifications tab.

I reviewed all of the tasks and the only notification is upon error, which is a different email notification than the email notification that the job is completed. I checked both Job and Tasks' Notification tab. Within the tab, there are checkboxes for Notification on start, complete, or error. Is there another place I need to check other than the check boxes in one of these columns?

The checkbox on the Job is to notify when complete; while the checkboxes on the Task is a different notification, that informs a user when a task failed. Each notification also has a different subject line message.

This is VisualCron version 5.6.8.

When looking at the log again it is clearly that the Notification is connected to the Task:

"c - Pharmacy Clinic with HCPCS"

As it is run _exactly_ when it is completed. Try to edit that Task and look again. Uncheck everything. Click ok. Run again.

When you say uncheck everything - is this unchecking the notification boxes on the task or on the job or both, the rechecking them, then rerunning. Are these the correct steps?

I am just saying that it almost seem impossible that Notification "Sending Email DS_Dailyd_Recon Reporting Completed" is not checked in Task "c - Pharmacy Clinic with HCPCS". Everything points to that.

If you have double checked this and are absolute certain that it is not checked. Then run it again. If you still get the same Notification then please export your settings and send to support@visualcron.com
