I have a minor problem with captured output (running VC 5.7.8). PHP script output displays Newlines as little boxes, not as skips to the next line. In my older copy of VC (4.6.27), captured output displays correctly.

Also, the older version puts a magnifying glass in the "Output" field when there's task output available. The newer version leaves the cell blank; you can still view the output by double clicking the cell. IMO the magnifying glass icon was a helpful feature, and it would be nice to have it back.

The problem is most likely that the "wrong" codepage is used. I don't know where you are located or which language settings you use but you can switch between ascii code page and utf8 for starters.
